We provide summer wastewater rates for residential customers with a single water meter. We average your water consumption for the months of January through April and use that average as the basis for your wastewater billing for the months of May through October.

For example:

Your average water consumption for the months of January through April is considerably smaller than your monthly summer usage. We base your wastewater bill on that amount. We understand that in the summer, filling swimming pools, watering your lawn, and similar activities cause your water rate consumption to increase without actually contributing to additional wastewater.

With this in mind, we disregard the higher summer water consumption and base the wastewater billing on the actual wastewater usage based on your water consumption for months when additional water is not typically consumed in non-wastewater producing activities.
